The 49th COCOTECH International Conference and Exhibition will take place from August 30, 2021 to September 2, 2021. This is the largest technical conference dedicated solely on coconut development.
It is organized by the Secretariat of International Coconut Community (ICC) . The theme for the conference is “Promoting Smart Farming, Eco-Friendly and Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Coconut Development”.
VIETCOCO exhibition booth is located on the 2nd floor of the exhibition area.
The conference will highlight new technological developments on coconut production particularly varietal improvement, coconut-based farming systems, integrated pest and disease management, post-harvest processing, and technology updates in the manufacture of emerging coconut products for the domestic and export market, cost effective technologies on integrated coconut processing, and marketing strategies. Experts from research and development institutions, industries and private sectors will be sharing their knowledge and experiences in this conference. Minimum 500 participants across the globe are expected to attend this conference.

ICC: is an independent intergovernmental organization which consists of 20 member countries and accounts for 85-90% of the world production of coconut. The ICC member countries are: the Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Guyana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Salomon Islands, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, Timor Leste, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
