At Luong Quoi Coconut Co., Ltd, the Voluntary blood donation is held annually, which is our social responsibility program with the enthusiastic participation of the Board of Director, manager and our workers.
Every day, every hour in our country, there are hundreds of thousands of patients in a dangerous condition, many unlucky children who have Thalassemia are waiting for blood transfusion. With a volume of blood from 250 – 350ml, you have no impact on your health, not only that donating blood also has benefits for your emotional and physical health. Red blood cells are replaced by bone marrow into the circulatory system at a slower rate, on average 36 days in healthy adult males. Donating blood does not take much time and energy but has a lot of benefits to society and has a profound humanism. 12 years of work, 6 times of blood donation
Mr. Toi Nguyen Van - Chairman of the Union Base has been 12 years, he shared that for the first time, registering blood donation with a simple thought, this is a meaningful activity, sharing difficulties and helping people who need a blood transfusion. He has been advised by doctors about nutrition, rest during blood donation as well as the benefits of blood donation brings.
Encourage everyone to participate in voluntary blood donation
With the mindset that one drop of blood donated gives more hope to the people who are struggling with their illness, Mr. Nam Tran Khoa – QA staff at the laboratory joined in blood donation during the time working at Luong Quoi Coconut Co., Ltd. Not only participating in this program, he always stimulates his family, co-workers and his neighbors to take part in voluntary blood donation.
Our company has started voluntary blood donation since 2015, has collected 1270 units of blood (nearly 381 liters) and nearly 700 million VND paid by our company. With the amount of blood collected, our company gave the national health care a hand to reduce pressure, has helped nearly 1000 patient in a dangerous condition, including many unlucky children with Thalassemia- genetic blood disorder, are waiting for blood transfusion.
