Mr. Cu Van Thanh is the founder and CEO of Luong Quoi Coconut Processing Co., Ltd. becoming one of the largest manufacturers and processors of coconut products in Vietnam. In 1997, the Company was established from the first crude oil pressing machine. Within 20 years, from a small oil factory, the company has grown tremendously with sales of more than 50 million USD.
Mr. Cu Van Thanh's journey to bring Vietnamese coconut products to consumers across five continents originates from the concerns of the desire to improve the lives of local people, and to increase the economic value of coconuts.
His predestined relationship with coconut trees began when he worked at the Dong Go Experimental Research Center (now the Dong Go Coconut Center under the Oil and Oilseed Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Trade). Here, he participated in many in-depth research activities in order to find a breakthrough direction for Vietnamese coconut trees.
In 1997, he started his business when he established Luong Quoi Coconut Processing Private Enterprise - the predecessor of the current Luong Quoi Coconut Co., Ltd.
Over 20 years, with difficulties and challenges, the company achieves the success business with many high quality products from coconuts such as desiccated coconut, coconut milk, coconut water, virgin coconut oil., refined coconut oil, toasted coconut chips, coconut butter... Under his leadership, the company has grown continuously, reaching out to become the leading manufacturer of coconut products in Vietnam. The company's products are now distributed throughout the country, besides the company's products are present in more than 50 countries and territories.
Mr. Thanh was born and raised in Thanh Phu beach, his wife is Huynh Thi Cam Chau, they has a son. Both are accompanying on the path to bring value to the coconut tree in their homeland and bring high-quality Vietnamese products to everyone, every home. Under the leadership of Mr. Cu Van Thanh, the company has gradually developed from rudimentary initial machinery and equipment, now technical and technological achievements have been applied, automatically production line help reduce production costs, optimize delivery time to consumers. Many big projects contribute to raising the value of coconut trees such as canned coconut milk factory line, Tetra pak packaging UHT line, centrifugal coconut oil production line, solar power plant. …
For many years in a row, he has been honored to receive the award "Typical Entrepreneur of the Mekong Delta" and also participates in many economic forums and currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of Ben Tre Business Association, taking the lead in economic development activities in the province.
